Finding success as both a player and coach, Sherrise was named one of Street and Smith's top players in California while in high school. After achieving a multitude of accomplishments ranging from MVP to All-CIF first team to Player of the Year during her high school career she continued her journey at University of California Berkeley; the foundation of her many accomplishments soon to follow.
While at CAL, she earned honors such as, Team MVP, All Pac-10, and remains one of the all time assist leaders in CAL history. As a two-year captain and four year starter she became a born leader but her impact on the team extended far beyond statistical categories. After college Sherrise was one of the top two females selected out of an all male cast, as the top street ball players in the nation to compete on MTV’s, “Who’s Got Game?” sponsored by Magic Johnson.
Returning home after college, served as Head Coach at Crossroads High School leading them to a playoff birth, after a 2-20 season the year prior. For the past 5 years Sherrise has served as head coach in the LA Summer Showcase League. She has won the championship twice in the college division, and once in the H.S division. Each year Sherrise has guided her team to a playoff birth in both Divisions.
Her passion for the game and compassion for others extended into the community as she founded the Got Game Basketball Training and Development Company. Got Game is designed to train athletes to reach their basketball goals on any level. This is accomplished through a variety of programs, Private Training, Clinics, and Club Teams. Several of her players since have gone on to play collegiate basketball under her tutelage.
A few of her clients include:
